ISLAMABAD: Negotiations between the government and the Sugar Mills Association have failed, permission to export sugar has been denied.

Flour, pulses, potatoes, gram, eggs, sugar and poultry became more expensive

Federal Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema has said regarding the negotiations that the government has rejected the claim of Sugar Mills Association that sugar is in abundance.

He said that the Sugar Mills Association did not inform about the overall situation of the current stock while there is a fear of 40% reduction in sugarcane production in Sindh.

According to Federal Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema, they cannot allow the export of sugar until the stock situation is clear, otherwise there will be less sugarcane production and we will have to import sugar.

Q-League Central Leader and Federal Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema clearly said that they do not want to suffer cases by importing expensive sugar from abroad, there will be negotiations with the Sugar Mills Association again on Thursday.
